Royal Vegas Poker is part of the PrimaPoker Network and has a lot to offer a beginning player as well as one who is experienced in the world of poker. At Royal Vegas there are some nice promotions and tournaments as well as a chance to win big money. Royal Vegas offers all of the standard poker game varieties, and are one of the few rooms to offer 5 card stud. Freerolls have also been one of Royal's biggest draws, as new players can take a shot at thousands in freeroll dollars each day, without any real money hand requirements. Royal Vegas is known for their excellent no limit Texas Hold'em cash game population.

24hPoker has had a rapid growth in 2004 and 2005 due to many TV advertisements. This is a poker room which should be recommended mainly to Apple and Linux fans who wish to play in a WSOP or EPT qualifier. This room has its flaws in terms of low traffic and quite unstable software. On the bright side, there's a lot of soft competition even at higher stakes. Additionally, a Scandinavian poker variant called Soko, is offered as well. Unfortunately, you will find most of the action in the No Limit tables in the world of Texas Hold'em, but if that's not a problem to you, then you may want to give this room a shot.

Fair Poker is a newcomer with ambitious plans to stand out as a unique and exciting online poker room. It does so fairly well, mainly due to the excellent software, but also because it offers a superb bonus. Fair Poker is not a fish tank, but more of a small pond with guaranteed fish every now and then. The game variety is not great, but the average poker player will find no harm in this as the popular turbo tables are here to fill that gap. Lots of tournaments pop up frequently and attract the typical medium stake player and some high stake players as well. In case you run into trouble with the software or one of the many deposit and cash-out options, a 24/7 support will be there to take care of you by mail, phone and live chat. All in all, Fair Poker is on par with some of the top poker rooms.

EuroPoker is yet another great poker room with great software. You get a very solid software package with industry leading features and superb graphics. Add to that a really high traffic rate of users, who unfortunately reside mostly in Texas Hold’em No Limit. The tournament traffic is also good, with thousands of players in various scheduled games, sit’n’goes and alike. The signup bonus is above the average and a good reason for you to register and try to claim it, but as far as promotions go, this network lacks what the real giants offer. If you are a Mac or Linux user, you will be happy to learn that this room also offers support through instant download software, so you will be able to play at work, at home or on foot, no matter what.

When Mansion Poker first opened its doors back in 2004, the software was originally developed solely by the Mansion team. Regardless of all the top notch promotions and alike, things have gone slower than expected and the player traffic never picked up a significant amount of players. In late 2007, the Mansion team decided to opt out of its own software to merge with the Ongame network. Player traffic issues are long gone and so are the previous low medium to high stake volumes. With the transition came more tournaments, including freerolls for $15,000, $300,000 guaranteed tournaments and plenty of other action. We strongly recommend previous Mansion Poker members to check out the new poker software, not to forget the excellent casino and sports book.

Poker Host has moved around in the past from network to network, but it has finally found its feet and taken root in the Microgaming network. This is a very wise decision, because the Microgaming network is well established and will provide a good base to build a community of players from.
The special feature, which helps to separate Poker Host away from other Microgaming rooms, is the sheer size of their initial sign-up bonus. The whopping 100% match bonus up to $2000 is available to all new depositing players, and can be redeemed by playing raked hands at the cash tables, where every 10 raked hands will earn you $1 of your bonus. The redeeming terms and conditions for the bonus are not the best, but there are very few rooms that can compete with Poker Host when it comes to offering a huge bonus to its players.

Paradise Poker is the closest you can get to a tropical gambling paradise, without lifting your rear off your seat. It is widely considered as one of the best poker rooms in the world and belongs to one of the largest ones, too. Excellent software with only a couple of misses, large tournament traffic and a large number of game modes indicates that this is a very special poker room. Paradise houses a lot of talented players, but in return you have plenty of competition in low level games as well as the high stakes.

Cake Poker entered the world of online poker in 2005 and has had a mediocre growth ever since. The Cake Poker team has great ambitions however and can achieve great things if they play their cards right. The traffic is rather low, but the positive development of quality tournaments is likely going to make things better. As for variety, there's not much to add other than the usual Hold'em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud. If you are a person who enjoys collecting items, this portal is definitely interesting due to the Gold Card program, which can earn you a total of $52,000. All in all, Cake Poker is an online poker room with potential, but if you're looking for a trafficated poker room site, then look at our higher-ranked rooms.
