VC Poker Player Traffic

VC Poker gets a good amount of traffic. At peak times they'll be around 8000 players at the cash tables, and around 30,000 players at the tournament tables. As with most sites the predominant game is no limit hold'em, with a good mix of full ring and 6 max tables. Omaha is increasing in popularity on the network too. Overall the standard of play is pretty "fishy" at the lower limits, so there's good scope to earn a few dollars. The competition starts getting pretty tough after the $2/$4 level. VC Poker Quality of Players

The competition at VC Poker is between average and relatively easy. Since they offer some great free money bonuses you will often find players going on trying for a quick double-up of their money. If you are patient enough you can pounce on these players and take their entire stack. Also, since the network does not allow rakeback you will find a lot less of the "big players" playing here.

VC Poker Tournament Info

Nearly all of the sit-and-gos are 10- or sixhanded and in the form of hold�em or Omaha (limit, pot-limit, eight-or-better limit, and eight-or-better pot-limit). Buy-ins range from $0.12 all the way up to $1,050, and all buy-ins over $50 are strictly no-limit hold�em. The lower buy-in tournaments fill within minutes.

VC Poker also hosts a slew of guaranteed tournaments. More than $7 million in guaranteed prize pool money is awarded every month. Every week there are numerous big guaranteed events that range from $20,000 to $10,000 with buy-ins as low as a $10 rebuy. Guaranteed tournaments under $10,000 run around the clock.

VC Poker Software

VC Poker are part of the iPoker Network; the are the largest growing network in Europe. VC Poker recently switched to iPoker from the Tribeca network, which has been a great plus for them. iPoker has some great features such an easily navigable lobby, buddy list, and an excellent one click "real time" history section to quickly see what your opponent folded at showdown.

Other more aesthetic features include a nicely designed tables and good player avatars, which you can choose from. They also have dealer sound if you want the action narrated. Similarly you can get a warning if a big bet is made. This is particularly handy when multi-tabling. VC Poker is a great site for multi-tablers. They have an optional four-colour deck and each table has a "mini-mode" view available, meaning you can play 4 tables comfortably on a 1024x728 screen without overlap.
