» What kind of poker games are there?
All Poker games originate from two basic types, Draw Poker and Stud Poker, and only one deck of cards is used. The aim of the game is for one card player to beat the other card players to win the pot. » Am I playing against the House?
When playing Poker the house takes no part in the game. The House's role is to host the game and provide a Dealer and the required tools and rules. At the end of each round of play or during the course of a hand, the House takes a tiny amount from the pot in return for offering these services.

» Is playing poker on the Internet safe?
Depends on what you mean by 'safe'. Most players worry about losing their money that they deposit. This has happened before in the earlier days of online poker, so it is a risk.
